Lod Mosaic center
In 1996, a rare and impressive mosaic was surprisingly discovered in the city of Lod. The mosaic was discovered during an excavation aimed at rescuing archeological finds before the expansion of Halutz Street in the city, as planned by the municipality.
The new visitor center provides a modern entrance to the city and will connect visitors with a tourism circuit in Lod with impressive historical sites currently undergoing preservation and restoration. These sites include the Khan el-Hilu, the Adaraba Tannaitic Museum, the House of Arches and many more.
